Trading Card Game
A Trading Card Game (TCG) is a game that consists on collecting and trading cards. The goal of the game is to become master of the sets chosen by yourself. Every TCG has its own way of doing things, so, this is the way things are done in PSY:
Sets
A set is a group of cards related to a very specific topic. In PSY, normal sets consist of twelve cards, and special sets consist of one to infinte number of cards.
Winning Cards
To increase the number of your cards, there are games and contests where you can win them. You also get cards for free in every update, when there are new sets or on special ocassions. You can also buy cards in the shop, using "colours". The more cards you have, the quicker you go up in the levels, and for each of the level ups, you also get cards! In the board are also other ways of winning cards.
Trading Cards
You can trade your cards with other people, so that you can get cards out of your wishlist. For example, if you are collecting the set Yukirin, but only own two cards from that set, you can visit other member's tradesites and see if they have any card you need. If they do, you can offer them something out of your collection or ask them if they can find something they may want in exchange of the card you are collecting. Don't be ashame to ask anyone, since that is one of the purposes of a Trading Card Game!
Colours
Colours is the name of the currency used in Psychodelic. You can win colours the same way you win cards, and with those colours, you can buy cards.
Collecting/Mastering Cards
You can choose which sets you want to collect, and you can collect as many sets as you want, as long as they exist in this TCG! Besides, sets can be mastered by as many members as there are. To start collecting a set, you have to specify in your trading page that you are collecting that set (or write your wishlist), that way, other members can help you completing it. Through winning and trading cards, you can get all cards of that set and become master. When you master a set, you get a prize and the mastercard, and your name is written down on the masterlist.
Board
The board is a place outside the TCG, but that also belongs to it. There, members can interact with each other in a more freely way and get to know each other better. Besides, there are also games and contests going on and there is something to do everyday! There are also topics where everyone can discuss, share experience or just randomly talk! The board is like the "social" place of the TCG!
Stealing Cards
To steal cards is absolutely forbidden, and if you get caught, you will be banned!
Ways of stealing cards not only include taking them and putting them in your page, but also cheating on games or creating double accounts.
Levels
Depending on the amount of cards you have, you are in a level. To know what level you are in, check out this table:

About Psychodelic
Psychodelic was created after I, Saori, closed Data.Hack. Data.Hack was my first online TCG, which I started with Aoi, but there were many member that I didn't knew, and most of them were inactive, so, I decided to start again. I opened PSY, with a "colorful" concept, since that is the meaning of the name. The first time I opened PSY, all layouts were colorful or where related to it.
After some time, there were again many inactive members and I couldn't stand the card template anymore, so, I decided to start PSY again.
After almost a year and consulting the active members, I decided to translate PSY, so that not only german-speakers could join, but rather people from all around the world! I did this hoping that PSY may have more members and that more people would participate in the games and contests.
After just a couple of months, ending 2007, I moved PSY into our new hoster, trying to get rid of the annoying Funpic Adds, and hoping that more members would join.
In 2008 several member became part of the team and we had an active year! Things kept like that in 2009 too.
In October 2009, I finally got my own domain and moved Psychodelic there ASAP! Inagurating with version 13, which is one version more then the old Psychodelic and ... This is the story of PSY until now!
The idea for the name Psychodelic came from the song "Psychedelic Lover", from the ex-J-Rock band Pierrot. But as I designed the first layout, I wrote Psychodelic instead of Psychedelic. I thought of maybe changing it, but since it sounded cool, I left it like that. Besides, I didn't save an editable copy of the layout and would have had to completely do it again!
